School vacations don't always mean days off for parents. Our FerienCampus offers a diverse holiday programme for children aged 6 to 12 during the 2nd and 5th weeks of the Saxon summer holidays in 2025.
Family breakfast for students with children
Twice a year, Leipzig University and the Studentenwerk Leipzig organise a family breakfast in the Mensa am Park. Student parents from all Leipzig universities and their children as well as pregnant women are invited.

Humanities Centre (GWZ) Closed to the Public
From Monday, 23 March, the University’s Humanities Centre (GWZ) on Beethovenstraße will be closed to visitors. Employees will still have access to their offices.
