Our faculty works closely with non-university research institutions in the Leipzig area and, within the framework of the research competence centre ScaDS.AI, with the Technical University of Dresden.
In doing so, our faculty cooperates closely with three Max Planck Institutes, the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research and the Institute for Applied Computer Science in the Leipzig area. As a result, there is a very close connection between our faculty and the Leipzig research landscape, which also has a positive influence on teaching.
Further collaborations exist within the framework of joint research projects with a large number of regional, national and international partners from research, business and industry.
